Al Nabih Saleh Club downed Dar Kulaib 5-2 to revive their chances of qualifying for the second stage of the 6th Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League, held at Khalifa Sports City on Friday.
Sayed Mohammed Saleh was named the best man of the match for Al Nabih Saleh, who lost their first match.
A’ali Club scored a shocking 2-0 victory against Sar Club to go top of Group 3.
Mohammed Abdullah was the hero for A’ali as he was named the best man of the match.
In Group 2, Samaheej Club defeated Maqaba Club 3-1.
Ali Hussain found the goal once to set up Samaheej’s win on the way to bagging the best man of the match award.
In the last match of the day, Al Nasir Club and Nuwaidrat Club shared the points in a 1-1 stalemate.
Isa Al Saba of Al Nasir Club took home the best man of the match award.

Meanwhile, media personnel Fayez Al Sadad, former Bahraini international and Muharraq Club player Ibrahim Al Isa and actor Yousif Bu Halool were guests of honour for Friday’s matches.
They expressed their admiration for the initiatives introduced by Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy president, Bahrain Athletics Association president, and Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities honorary president, to inspire the youth and support them in various fields, especially in sports.
The league is organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Affairs in partnership with the Media Office of Shaikh Khalid from June 24 to August 9.
The league is being held this year with the wide participation of youth centres, national clubs, young women, disabled individuals, ministries and communities.
Al Sadad said Shaikh Khalid’s various initiatives have allowed the Bahraini youth to unleash their abilities and talents.
For his part, Al Isa said that the league carries many noble objectives, hailing Shaikh Khalid’s keenness and interest in Bahraini youth.
“The inclusion of young women in the league as well as ministries and communities affirm that the league has become a major national project with sports and social objectives that strengthen the march of Bahraini society,” he stressed.
