A CENTRE set up to fulfil the visions of a very popular former Indian president is at the centre of a controversy after allegations that it was being misused to collect money in his name.
New Delhi-based Kalam Centre, which has a branch in Bahrain, is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to continue the works of the late Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, the 11th president of India, from 2002 to 2007 .
