Riyadh – The Saudi authorities announced the arrival of 1.892.826 pilgrims to perform the Haj rituals as per Saturday night.
The Statistics said that it would announce the final number of pilgrims from Saudi Arabia and abroad on Arafat Day, which falls on Monday (August 20).
Overall, more than 2 million Muslims have today started the annual Haj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia. The five-day pilgrimage represents one of the five pillars of Islam and is required of all able-bodied Muslims once in their life.
