BAHRAIN will host the second edition of Brave Combat Federation in Johannesburg in December.
Bahrain-based Brave is the leading global mixed martial arts organisation with most of its fighters coming from Africa.
Brave signed three major fighters from South Africa ahead of the December event and they are Frans Mlambo, Jeremy Smith and Chad Hanekom.
“We are glad to bring global mixed martial arts events to the continent of Africa. The initial response was overwhelming. Brave is the only organisation to host an event in Africa under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, King of Morocco,” said Brave president Mohammed Shahid.
“We need to maintain this momentum to increase the global footprint of Brave. I believe the upcoming event in South Africa will cement our dominance even further and will help to increase global partnerships when it comes to sports initiatives.”
