MANAMA: New digital services have been launched on the MaxWallet digital wallet with the launch of its new logo.
The payment solutions have been launched via a collaboration between BBK and CrediMax, which will focus on providing more services and payment options like transferring money, sharing payments with friends and family in addition to existing services like making purchases via Quick Response Payments (QR).
MaxWallet was so far available only to CrediMax Visa or Mastercard credit cards holders and will now be offered to BBK debit card customers also.
CrediMax chief executive Yousif Ali Mirza and BBK Retail Banking assistant general manager Dr Adel Salem inaugurated the service in the presence of officials from the two companies at CrediMax headquarters.
“The objective is the roll-out and facilitation of a digital environment that enables quick and secure payment options to customers,” said Mr Mirza.
“Being part of BBK Group, we continuously look at ways to expand and extend our offerings with meaningful and value added services and features. This collaboration further consolidates and brings to light our vision of embracing and enabling digital transformation, strengthening our position as leaders in digital banking and credit card services.”
The MaxWallet app is currently available on both Android and iOS and new services will soon be added to the wallet.
