American trainer killed; Saudi Lieutenant wounded in helicopter crash

Riyadh – American trainer Paul Reidi was killed when a helicopter crashed in the Khashm Al-Aa’an airport in Riyad, Saudi Arabia, the National Giard announced.

Saudi First Lieutenant Hesham bin Abdulaziz Al-Shaikh was injured in the crashed.

He is said to be in a stable condition in the King Abdulaziz Medical City at the National Guard headquarters in the Saudi Capital.

They were on a routine training flight on board the AH6i light attack helicopter when the incident happened.

Investigation committees are conducting an inquiry to probe the circumstances of the helicopter crash.
