MANAMA: Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) logged its highest monthly urea production this July of 60,209 metric tonnes.
The company marked the achievement with an event attended by managing director Ibrahim Al Musaiteer, president Dr Abdulrahman Jawahery, executive management and officials.
In a statement, Mr Al Musaiteer said the achievement comes as a result of the company’s keenness to modernise its operations, systems and the endeavour to provide development and training programmes aimed at raising the professionalism and efficiency of employees.
He expressed confidence in the company’s Bahraini employees and their ability to make maximum use of all training opportunities it provides efficiently and effectively.
Dr Jawahery said all of the company’s products are subject to international regulations for quality, the environment, occupational health and safety and responsible care, and GPIC has received the highest honours and awards in this regard.
He said the management is committed to providing all necessary factors that contribute to the achievement of more records at all levels of work, taking full account of the application of the highest international standards in occupational safety and health.
