Brave Combat Federation has entered into a partnership with ARY, House of Rockville and MRG to form Brave Pakistan.
The initiative will bring Brave Combat Federation to Pakistan to host the first international mixed martial arts event to take place in the country. The event will be the most broadcast combat sports event to take place in Pakistan.
Salman Iqbal representing ARY, House of Rockville’s Saad Ali Khan, GreenHill Sports CEO Jahangir Riaz and MRG’s Dewan Adil signed the partnership agreement with Brave Combat Federation president Mohammed Shahid, who was accompanied by Faisal Rehman.
Shahid said, “I am pleased to announce our partnership with ARY. The partnership will help in the development of mixed martial arts in Pakistan. We are glad to work alongside top industry leaders like ARY, GreenHill Sports and House of Rockville to bring this initiative to Pakistan. This marks a new chapter for sports media initiatives in Pakistan.”
Brave Pakistan will host the first edition of the event on October 27 at the Nistar Sports Complex in Lahore. It will organise nationwide tryouts on a regular basis for Brave Combat Federation to support the initiatives for talent development in Pakistan. Brave Pakistan will manage the initiatives and become the master franchise holder for Brave MMA Gyms, Brave Nutrition and Brave Apparel.
ARY’s Iqbal has been elected as the chairman of Brave Pakistan and Rockville’s Abrar Ali Khan will function as the CEO.
The initiative is supported by UK-based combat sports merchandise manufacturing brand GreenHill Sports.
