Two of Bollywood’s most highly acclaimed singers will perform live in Bahrain with a stunning entourage of talented artists this weekend.
Organised by Rami Productions Middle East, Udit Narayan and Sadhana Sargam will be on stage at the Indian School Bahrain ground in Isa Town at 7.30pm on Friday (Oct 26).
Udit Narayan, the king of melody, is one of the most popular singers of the Hindi film industry.
He has received many accolades during his career, with four national film awards, five Filmfare awards besides other international and state awards.
Mr Narayan has also been awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian award, in 2016 by the Indian government.
His first Filmfare award was for his breakthrough song in 1988, ‘Papa Kehte Hain’ from the film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, which went on to become that year’s biggest hit.
In 1995, he bagged a second Filmfare award for the hit song ‘Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna’ from the film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaaenge.
As one of the big names in the Indian film and music industry, Udit Narayan has sung more than 25,000 songs in more than 31 languages.
In a notable career spanning three-and-a-half decades, Udit Narayan has garnered particular acclaim for his voice quality.
He has been praised by seniors, established singers and composers for his original style and voice quality.
He has been the on-screen voice of the three major superstars of Indian cinema namely Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan.
Many celebrated music directors prefer to work with him since he is able to gel with almost everyone and give the exact feel to the song.
Plus, he is one of the top choices of famous music directors like A R Rahman, Nadeem-Shravan, Rajesh Roshan and Shankar Mahadevan.
