The action never stops at Bahrain International Circuit, “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”.
Just a week following its first international event of the 2018/2019 season with the Bapco Bahrain GT Festival, the world-class desert race track is all set to host the first continental event of the year with Speed Weekend.
The two-day meeting is scheduled for Friday and Saturday and it will feature five exciting series from across the region and Asia.
Headlining will be the MRF Challenge from India and the Bahrain-based Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East. The other championships taking place are the BIC 2,000cc Challenge, the Bahrain Motorcycle Racing (BMR) 600, the Bahrain Supersport Championship (BSSP) 125 and the Bahrain Superbike Championship (BSBK).
The MRF Challenge is a single-seater championship. It features some of the fastest young talent from around the world, with races being held all across Asia.
