Riyadh: The 39th Gulf Cooperation Council summit will last one day, according to Kuwaiti Alrai newspaper.
The six-nation periodic summit will convene on Sunday in Saudi Arabia.
Citing diplomatic sources, the Kuwaiti daily said that the summit will not be preceded by the foreign ministers’ preparatory meeting.
The sources said that the level of delegations representing the member countries is yet to be announced.
Qatari Amir Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has received an invitation from Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to attend the summit.
