PREPARE for a night of laughter and entertainment with ‘Johny Lever Live’ tomorrow at the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam, Segaiya.

For decades the Indian community has associated laughter with the name of Johny Lever who will be performing for the first time in Bahrain.

He will be accompanied by his daughter, Jamie, and Rehman Khan of ‘Comedy Circus’.

One of the first award-winning stand-up comedians, Johny Lever got the name ‘Lever’ attached to his name after a performance at Hindustan Lever Limited company where he was employed for a short time.

The performance in Bahrain will begin at 7.30pm and doors open at 6pm.

In celebration of the Indian Republic Day week, the same day from 4pm-6pm, everyone is invited to enjoy free entertainment for children with face-painting, henna, food stalls and mascots, along with the distribution of balloons in colours representing the national flags of India and Bahrain.

On Friday, there will be a gala dinner with the artists at the Wyndham Grand Manama, Bahrain Bay.

This will be an opportunity for platinum ticket holders and esteemed guests to meet the artists in person.

The event is being organised by Artplan and Relax in association with Al Maya International. Call 39442633 for further information.
