A man has been charged with insult and endangering the lives of students after he chased after a bus in his car and forced it to stop in the middle of a road in Sharjah, according to Khaleej Times.
During his trial at a Sharjah court on Tuesday, the Emirati admitted that he drove his car very close to the bus to force it to stop.
He claimed he did so to confront a student who had allegedly assaulted his son.
Expressing regret for what he did, the defendant told the court that he suffered from depression and was taking medications.
He said he was ready to apologise to the Ministry of Education.
The court adjourned the case to February 3.
