The countdown continues and excitement is set to reach fever pitch ahead of the biggest and most anticipated event of the year.
Only 50 days remain until the eyes of the world turn to Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir for the start of the weekend’s events in the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2019.
The Formula 1 spectacle, this year themed ‘Limitless’, takes place over four action-packed days from March 28 to 31 at BIC.
Formula 1’s drivers and teams are already gearing up for the launches of their 2019 challengers beginning this week, just ahead of the start of pre-season testing on February 18 in Barcelona.
The 2019 FIA Formula 1 World Championship then gets underway in Australia on March 17, paving the way for the Bahrain Grand Prix, which will be the second of 21 rounds in the new season.
The 57-lap sprint in the heart of the desert will mark the 999th World Championship race in the history of the top flight. It is being held as part of the landmark 15th season of BIC and it will also be the sixth time it is taking place under BIC’s state-of-the-art floodlights as a night race.
Tickets are selling out fast, so fans are being urged to pick theirs up at the earliest to not miss out on the hottest event in the region.
Tickets for all four days for seating along the Main Grandstand are BD150 apiece.
A Batelco Grandstand ticket for all four days costs BD120, but there are also two other options for Batelco Grandstand seats. For a ticket to Saturday and Sunday only, the cost is BD100, while for Friday only it is BD60.
A four-day ticket to the Turn One Grandstand is BD100; whereas University and Victory Grandstand tickets are BD60 apiece.
