Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, Bahrain Athletics Association president and Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation honorary president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa has announced the launch of the 100-round-boxing fight.
Part of Shaikh Khalid’s humanitarian and sports initiatives, the event will take place next November and its proceeds will be dedicated to families of martyrs of duty and injured veterans.
Shaikh Khalid expressed his delight in announcing the initiative. “I am very happy to announce this new challenge, where I will participate in a 100-round-boxing fight. The event’s returns will be donated to the families of our marytyrs and the injured veterans who were among our brave soldiers taking part in the Saudi-led Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen and those who didn’t spare any effort to protect our country. The details of the fight will be unveiled later.”
“We are keen to continue introducing new initiatives especially those in support of the families of our brave martyers and injured veterans in line with His Majesty King Hamad’s instructions to provide them with the necessary assistance,” Shaikh Khalid added.
