THE new-generation Hiace van and minibus, unveiled by Ebrahim K Kanoo at the Toyota showroom in Sitra, features powerful new engines, increased ride comfort and a host of new specifications, including advanced safety features.
It also features semi-bonnet design that enhances reliability, toughness and functional beauty while offering a wide choice of body sizes and wheelbase lengths.
“Owners, drivers and passengers know they are in good hands when they own, drive and ride in a Hiace,” said chief engineer Takuo Ishikawa.
Ebrahim K Kanoo Toyota marketing senior manager Ayman Shehadeh said the vehicle was launched with customer’s peace of mind as top priority.
“The Toyota Hiace has always been the preferred choice of van and bus operators in Bahrain due to its safety and reliability and we expect this new version to be even more popular than ever,” he said.
The three-seater van’s starting price is BD9,500 with an additional BD475 for VAT while the 13-seater commuter starts at BD11,400 with an additional BD501 for VAT.
