SHURA Council has rejected an amendment to the 2001 Money Laundering and Terrorism Funding Combat Law.
The amendment was already rejected by parliament in February and would have seen the government opening records of all transactions, books and transfers made by those involved in money laundering and terrorism funding cases even if it was not related to the case under investigation .
