TWO key financial networks funding terror outfits have been disrupted dealing a significant blow to the militant group Da’esh, according to a top US official.
The Rawi Network, a key financial facilitation group for the Islamic State (IS), also known as Da’esh or the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), was targeted with stringent actions in a co-ordinated effort by the Counter ISIS Finance Group (CIFG), said US Treasury Department Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes Assistant Secretary Marshall Billingslea .
