UAE-based telecom group Etisalat has posted a consolidated net profit of Dh2.2 billion ($598 million) for the first quarter of the year representing a year over year increase of 5 per cent and resulting in a net profit margin of 17 per cent.
Consolidated EBITDA totalled Dh6.6billion, representing an increase of 2 per cent year over year and resulting in EBITDA margin of 51 per cent, while consolidated revenues amounted to Dh13.0 billion.
In the UAE the subscriber base reached12.6million subscribers in Q1 of 2019, while Aggregate subscriber base reached 143 million, representing a year over year increase of 2 per cent
