NINETEEN people died on Bahrain’s roads in the first three months of this year compared to 13 in the corresponding period last year, recording a 46 per cent rise in traffic fatalities.
However, this was despite the number of accidents in the same period showing a drop of almost 25pc, from 292 last year to 220 this year, according to latest statistics posted on the Interior Ministry’s website .
