A 32-year-old Indian man with a fake passport tried to pass off as an 81-year-old man got caught at New Delhi airport.
Jayesh Patel disguised himself as an octogenarian passenger by arriving at the airport in a wheelchair, dyed his hair and beard white and wore glasses and turban.
He was planning to board the flight from New Delhi to New York.
He had a fake passport under the name of 81-year-old Amrik Singh.
According to CISF officials, the passenger behaved suspiciously when he refused to be frisked protesting that he was 'too old' and unable to stand.
According to NDTV, Patel had hired an agent to get him a fake passport and agreed to pay him $41,752 upon his arrival in the US.
On further questioning, he admitted his name was Jayesh and that he was from Ahmedabad in Gujarat, India.
