Riyadh: Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will receive Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday to discuss several political and economic issues.
The Russian leader will also hold talks with Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Putin’s visit, the first since 2007, will also focus on co-operation to maintain oil market stability, in addition to the current situation in Syria and the Arabian Gulf region and Yemen.
According to the Kremlin, many economic agreements will be signed during the visit – of which 10 concern the sectors of infrastructure, artificial intelligence and energy worth $2 billion.
A Russian-Saudi investment forum will also be held on the sidelines of the visit, bringing together more than 300 participants, according to Okaz.
