Al Bait Sharjah, a luxury resort located in the UAE’s historical restoration project known as Heart of Sharjah, has been honoured with the Modama Green Hotel & Resort Award by HH Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.
The award was established by Ajman Tourism Department to recognise the most sustainable hospitality companies in UAE.
This award acknowledges the hotel’s founding vision in supporting the local authorities, aligning its long-term goals with the UAE’s vision to grow into a sustainable business hub for international establishments.
Al Bait’s general manager Patrick Moukarzel, said: “We feel extremely privileged to win this award against other reputable companies who share our same goals towards a sustainable hospitality. Al Bait Sharjah adopts a 360-degree approach to sustainability, from producing its own water, energy consumption reduction through innovative modern techniques to candle wax recycling.
The Emirati luxury resort comprises of a collection of historic manor houses with 53 guestrooms and suites. The architecture and design sensitively reflect Arabic culture, in tune with its surroundings and blending harmoniously with the heritage buildings in the district. – TradeArabia News Service
