Kuwait City: Kuwait Ministry of Health announced another 23 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus, raising the total number of cases in the country to 289, Gulf News reported.
Eight of the 23 cases are related to travel and include three Kuwaitis who had travelled to the UK, two Kuwaitis to Iran, and three other Kuwaitis who had been to France.
Meanwhile, 14 new cases - three Kuwaitis, 10 Indians, and one Bangladeshi- are of people who were in contact with previously confirmed cases.
One case is currently under epidemic investigation, the ministry spokesman said.
Additionally, an 82-year-old woman recovered from the coronavirus, the Minister of Health announced earlier today, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 73.
