Star tribute acts lined up

OPEN-AIR tribute act music festival Trib Fest returns for its spring edition this month.

Preparations are underway for the popular festival, which is set to feature around 20 UK-based tribute acts at the Bahrain Rugby Football Club on Friday.

Festival-goers can expect an array of music throughout the day with tributes to artists such as Rihanna, Olly Murs, Lady Gaga, Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams, David Bowie, Katy Perry and many more.

Local talent will also be represented on the indoor stage from midday to 8.30pm, with nine bands set to perform.

Guests will be able to enjoy more performances from 10pm to 2am at the after-party, which will feature four genres of tribute artists showcasing glam rock, Brit pop, rock and Motown.

Tickets are available from the website and from the Bahrain Rugby Football Club. Doors open at 10am on April 15.
