Kuwait: The Kuwait Oil Company on Monday appealed to striking employers to resume work and heed their country’s vital national interests.
In a circular issued, the firm urged strikers to realise the current economic situation, which requires all efforts ‘to confront present difficulties and build a better future for all.’
While stressing the state’s support to the workers’ constitutional rights, including the right of expression within the law, the company said that the strike is illegal as it harms vital national interest, disrupts people’s interests and compromises the safety of vital oil facilities, reported Arabic daily Al-Qabas.
