Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen relations with the UAE in equestrian sport and horse care was highlighted at a meeting held by Horse Care Affairs Authority chairman Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa with Meydan Group chairman Saeed Al Tayer.
Shaikh Duaij underlined that His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa is keen on strengthening the Bahrain-UAE ties in various fields, including equestrian sport and horse care. “We highly value the important role being played by Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, whose initiatives and experiences have upgraded the equestrian sports in the UAE,” Shaikh Duaij said.
He said that equestrian sport in Bahrain and the UAE is moving on the right path towards achieving further successes, as evidenced by the recent achievements of the two countries at the regional and international levels.
Al Tayer praised Shaikh Nasser’s role in developing equestrian sport in Bahrain.
