Riyadh: A Saudi Arabian Airlines plane made an emergency landing at Cairo International Airport after a passenger fell sick on board the flight.
The plane was heading from Istanbul to Riyadh when the pilot contacted the control tower at Cairo International Airport to request an emergency landing to provide urgent medical treatment to a Saudi passenger, reported local Arabic daily Al-Jazirah.
The passenger was taken to a hospital in Cairo along with two of his companions.
The plane resumed its flight to the Saudi capital after a 90-minute delay.
