A $10.7 million deal has been signed by the Saudi Film Commission for 28 film-related projects.
The projects are based on the winning entries of last year’s Daw competition and the new deal includes the development of scripts and production of short and feature-length films.
Winners of the competition's four categories were announced in February 2020, Arab News reported.
Launched in September 2019m the Daw competition aims to support Saudi cinema in line with the country’s Quality of Life Programme, as part of the country's efforts to realise the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
