Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud has welcomed Kuwait’s Crown Prince Shaikh Meshal Al Ahmed Al Sabah to Riyadh on his first official visit to the neighbouring country.
The Kuwaiti Crown Prince is leading a delegation, which includes the oil and foreign ministers, on an official visit to Saudi Arabia, state media reported yesterday.
The visit comes amid a separate meeting of the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and their allies including Russia.
Shaikh Meshal arrived at King Khalid International Airport, in Riyadh, on his first official visit.
The two met and discussed the situation in the region and efforts to enhance stability and security in the royal court at Al Yamamah Palace.
They reviewed relations between the two countries, aspects of co-operation in various fields and opportunities in support of its development, in addition to reviewing regional and international developments and the efforts made to enhance security and stability.
The Saudi Crown Prince received a written message to King Salman from Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah.
