A construction project supervisor, who was held responsible for allowing toxic waste to leech into soil at a Ma’ameer waste oil processing facility, has lost his final appeal against a guilty sentence and hefty fines at Bahrain’s highest court.The expatriate polluter, whose nationality was not specified in Cassation Court documents, was earlier fined BD12,000 for ordering toxic waste to be stored inappropriately near an asphalt mixing plant .
