BAHRAINI rider Khalid Hilal Al Khateri qualified for the World Endurance Games, which will be held in California, USA next year, after he won third place in the Grand Prix of Al Shira’aa International Equestrian Show 2017, held in Abu Dhabi.
Featuring 150-160cm obstacles, Al Khateri topped the podium’s last place of the 32-contestant competition following a stunning performance that saw him finishing the two rounds of the event flawlessly in 56.96 seconds on his horse Awal BDF.
The event included riders from both genders.
Al Shira’aa International Equestrian Show 2017 witnessed the participation of top international riders who contested in different competitions, including the final Grand Prix.
Winning first in the main event was French rider Adeline Hecart, while second place went to Saudi rider Khalid Al Murbati. Both finished without committing any fault.
