A calendar featuring North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un has been released depicting him in a variety of amusing poses. Each month has an image of the 39-year-old despot – some genuine, others mocked up.
The calendar, which is being sold online by Welsh firm The Calendar King, includes images of Kim playfully sticking his tongue out, posing with a rose and wearing a sun hat.
One image even shows him under the mistletoe with former US president Donald Trump. The calendar costs approximately BD6.500.
One fan wrote: “Very nice calendar that pleased me a lot, the calendar shows images that we do not see at home.” Another added: “It is a beautiful and funny calendar. Very satisfied.”
The Etsy marketplace also sells a wide range of other merchandise, including mugs and T-shirts, featuring the leader of the Workers’ Party of Korea. Kim Jong-un has been supreme leader of North Korea since 2011 and become an unexpected style icon due to his haircut at a young age.
