Middle East – Iraqi singer Dumu Tahsine has been declared the winner of the 4th season of the reality show “The Voice Ahla Sawt”, aired on MBC TV Channel.
The Iraqi winner, who featured in the team led by Emirati singer Ahlem, has the highest number of viewers’ voters to clinch the coveted title of the year
Tahsine, who ended a three-month long journey triumphantly, walks away with a brand new car and a recording contract with Universal Music Group.
She competed last night in the final round – along with Hala Malki, from Lebanese singer Elissa’s team, and Essam Sarhan, which was part of Egyptian singer Hamaqi’s team.
The first season of Arab world's version of The Voice was launched on the 14 of September 2012 and was broadcast worldwide from Beirut, Lebanon via MBC 1.
The show, which featured 100 participants from across the Arab world, had its contestants receiving training and supervision from some of the region’s big music stars.
