UAE: A large number of supercars and classic motors were left to rust as their owners abandoned them and fled the United Arab Emirates.
The dusty cars were impounded and placed at a massive scrapyard, thought to be the largest of its kind in the GCC countries.
The abandoned cars are some of the most expensive brands, including Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Range Rovers and Lamborghini, which are still sought for their spare parts
A report in the Daily Mail said that the massive scrapyard is not far from the luxurious Dubai City Centre.
“Most of their owners are believed to be expats who fled the UAE years ago after they defaulted on loans and left the cars behind,” said the British paper.
