An investigation has been launched into registered businesses being used as a cover for expatriates managing and running it for individual Bahrainis.
Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed Alzayani said during the Shura Council's weekly session today that accusations by first vice-chairman Jamal Fakhro - that 60 per cent of businesses are being used as cover for expats according to statistics provided by the Bahrain Chamber for Commerce and Industry (BCCI) - will be probed .
