A WAR of words erupted in Bahrain’s largest municipal council over the process complainants have to go through to officially submit grievances about the amount they are paying in municipality fees.
An edict published in the Official Gazette on April 30 last year ordered the restructuring of the Northern Municipality’s grievances procedure into a formal Municipal Fees Committee by Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam Khalaf .
