Oman's Labour Ministry has announced that female contractors in the country will now be able to hire expatriates, provided they meet certain conditions.
“Female contractors can hire non-Omani workers, provided those contractors are engaged full-time to manage their commercial establishments, are registered with the Public Authority for Social Insurance (PASI), and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority,” a ministry official told Times of Oman.
A circular describing the hiring capabilities of female contractors was issued by the ministry.
