A four-month-old boy in Egypt was discovered to have been born with four kidneys, a condition called bilateral duplex kidneys, which occurs in fewer than one in 10,000 births.
The child was admitted to Al-Arish General Hospital in Egypt after his parents noticed that he was fatigued, a spokesperson told Egyptian newspaper Youm7.
An ultrasound check revealed that the child had four kidneys and he under medical supervision at the intensive care unit, officials said.
