The grandma and the stranger she mistakenly texted back in 2016 just celebrated their seventh Thanksgiving together.
In 2016, 65-year-old Wanda Dench accidentally texted the then 17-year-old Jamal Hinton's, thinking he was her grandson, inviting him over for Thanksgiving dinner.
In a hilarious exchange, Hinton informed her that she had gotten the wrong number, but asked if he was still invited for Thanksgiving.
Dench replied that, of course, he still was, and that feeding everyone was what grandmas did.
Since then, the pair have met up every year to celebrate Thanksgiving together.
Hinton posted on Instagram that he would be celebrating Thanksgiving for the seventh time.
