Madinah - The Madinah Region Development Authority said it had completed preparations for the Madinah Buses project entailing shuttle and public transportation services that will commence during the holy month of Ramadan 1445 AH.
A fleet of around 200 modern buses will transport individuals visiting the Prophet's Mosque, the Quba Mosque, and various stations within Madinah throughout Ramadan this year.
The authority has designated seven routes for the shuttle service, facilitating transportation to and from the Prophet's Mosque. There is also a dedicated station for transportation to and from the Quba Mosque.
The shuttle service operates from 3 pm until one hour after the Tarawih prayer. During the last 10 days of Ramadan, the service extends until half an hour after the Qiyam prayer.
The locations from where people will be transported to the Prophet's Mosque include Sports Stadium, Durrat Al-Madinah, Sayed Alshuhda', the Islamic University, AlKhaldiha Neighborhood, and Bani Harithah.
