THE GDN Media team got to the root of the matter by planting a tree outside our offices in East Riffa.
We teamed up with the National Communications Centre and Southern Municipality, to plant a magnificent moringa, with a little helping hand from green-fingered Madassar Ahmed who delivered the piece to mark National Tree Week.
Moringa oleifera is a fast-growing, drought-resistant tree of the family Moringaceae, native to the Indian subcontinent. It is often called the drumstick tree because of its skinny, foot-long pods when mature.
