Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE have been affected. Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have suspended schools due to the bad weather.
Iraq witnessed significant disruptions, including temporary flight halts, power outages, and health emergencies.
The storm's effects are expected to subside in the next few hours. However, the winds are expected to last until Friday.
