Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) transported approximately 1.87 million passengers via the Holy Sites Train between the stations in Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat during the operational period from the 7th of Dhul Hijjah until the end of the Tashreeq days, conducting 2,154 trips.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the operational plan for the Holy Sites Train included five main movements. The first movement commenced on the 7th of Dhul Hijjah and continued until sunset on the 8th, during which over 27,000 passengers were transported.
The second movement involved transporting 282,000 pilgrims from Mina to Arafat. The third movement saw the transfer of 294,000 pilgrims from Arafat to Muzdalifah, while the fourth movement transported more than 349,000 pilgrims from Muzdalifah to Mina. The final movement, which continued until sunset on the last day of Tashreeq, recorded the transport of over 920,000 passengers to and from Jamrat (Mina station 3).
