BAHRAIN has moved up 12 places in a global index that benchmarks gender parity across 148 economies.
The 19th edition of the Global Gender Gap Index by the World Economic Forum has covered countries based on four key parameters – Economic Participation and Opportunity, Educational Attainment, Health and Survival, and Political Empowerment .
