Fares Hajjar and Anshuman Sonawane have entered the under-14 boys’ doubles final of the seventh E K Kanoo Juniors Open Tennis Championship being played at the Bahrain Tennis Club courts in Juffair.
The duo defeated Fares Al Tobli and Isa Al Qattani 6-2, 6-2 in the semi-final to set up the title clash with Mohammed Al Shehabi and Abdulla Nass, who eased past Anirudh Sai Krishan and Aditya Sai Krishan 6-1, 6-0.
Meanwhile, Maryam Abdulla Isa will take on Khadija Mousa in the under-14 girls’ singles final.
In their semi-final clashes, Maryam battled past Madison Mordecai 6-1, 7-5 and Khadija held off Eira Correl 7-5, 6-1.
