A three-day holiday was announced in Kuwait marking the Eid Al Fitr, which is likely to be celebrated on Tuesday.
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) said that the Eid recess would run from Tuesday until Thursday (June 4-6).
Official working hours will resume on Sunday, June 9, said a CSC statement posted on the state-run Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
State authorities with special working hours should arrange their work timing in a manner that would serve the public interest, the statement added.
