Kuwait's Health Minister has officially announced the cancellation of the country's ban on washing of bodies of Covid-19 victims before burial, adding that the use of PCR tests and quarantine would soon follow suit.
“As we are nearing the end of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have officially canceled the decision on non-washing of the Covid-19 deceased,” Dr Khaled Al Saeed said on Wednesday.
Kuwait will also cancel PCR test and replace it with the rapid test as well as cancel quarantine, the minister said.
