Would you scare yourself for $1,300? That's what satellite TV network Dish TV is offering to anyone who is brave enough to watch 13 horror movies.
The third edition of the network's Stephen King movie marathon is looking for volunteers.
The selected volunteer will be given a Fitbit to track their heartbeat while watching the 13 movies.
Dish will then use this data to determine the scariest Stephen King movie and villain.
The selected volunteer will have to watch the following films:
- Carrie (1976 original and 2013 remake)
- Christine
- Cujo
- Firestarter (1984 original and 2022)
- It
- It Chapter Two
- Misery
- The Mist
- Pet Sematary
- Salem's Lot
- The Shining
The volunteer will be selected by the end of September and will have the whole of October to watch these movies.
Hopefuls can apply directly on the Dish website.
Assuming that someone can sit through all these movies, Dish TV will pay him or her $1,300 along with a swag bag worth $350.
