I WAS on my usual seafood run early Friday morning at the Manama Central Fish Market when I accidentally noticed my seller’s fingers that’s left me questioning everything!
Apologies for the TMI, but his fingers were swollen with fungi and pus, as he went about his work. It’s not his fault, his health wasn’t taken care of.
I question our health authorities for their concern of the local vendors.
Are they truly responsible for the hygiene and overall health regulations on this island?
